Here we are, we leave today the Artemar marina! Our boat was in winter storage for over six months and everything went really well. We’ve had some work done (engine and generator maintenance, sail repair, covering the tender, renewal of the exterior woodwork, antifouling) and everything has been handled impeccably. In addition, the town of Termini Imerese is really nice. Thanks to Lucia, Calogero, Walter and everyone else.

Excellent tourist harbour. Quality and warm welcome. Walter on the decks, Lucia for the administration and Calogero the owner are helpful, attentive and very efficient. The required maintenance works are carried out perfectly and carefully, at reasonable prices. The port is equipped with a dryer and washing machine. It is close to the city, the railway station, shopping centres, restaurants and cafes. We highly recommend this harbour, which not only deserves a stopover, but an anchorage all year round.

We are very satisfied with this marina. We left the Minx here for three months this summer and, if we were not around the island, we would be tempted by their winter prices or even the annual contract. The mooring master, Walter, is excellent. Lucia, in the office, is very friendly and efficient. The owner, Calogero, gave his honest opinion on the work needed, thus saving us unnecessary expenses. While we were away, the boat was safely and expertly taken out, cleaned and polished. As others have said, the port is large and commercial, but we prefer the atmosphere of a working port to the more touristy places. There is a large Eurospin, a small farmer’s market and the wonderful Gran Café Opera within walking distance, plus the station with many trains to Palermo or mainland Italy (We travelled from London by train!) and they have a washing machine and dryer, not so common in other marinas in Italy. The attractive old town is on the hill behind, a challenging walk, but well worth it.
